Bio:
Andrew Walton has dedicated his career to a lifelong passion for helping others. Through both clinical and personal experiences, Andrew has been able to transform the lives of individuals afflicted with addiction. Educated in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario and Addiction Specialization at McMaster University; Andrew is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor (ICADC), and also holds certifications in First Aid, CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Applied Suicide Intervention and is a certified Mental Health Crisis First Responder along with being a member of the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF). Andrew is also a certified Interventionist and has helped countless people break through denial and begin a new and healthy life. Andrew has gathered experience from working with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Bellwood Health Services, and St. Michael’s Addiction Treatment, Director of Operations at the Canadian Centre for Addictions, and now proud owner and director of Andrew Walton Addiction Services.
